Dr. Sharon R. Hamilton serves as the Norwich University Vice President of Strategic Partnerships. Dr. Hamilton is a retired U.S. Army Colonel with 27 years of active-duty service as a Military Intelligence officer.
Since July 2020, Dr. Hamilton has worked at Norwich University. In her current role as the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, she collaborates with university, government, military, and industry partners. Since September 2020, Sharon has served as the Executive Program Director/Principal Investigator (PI) for the DoD Senior Military College Cyber Institutes program, a National Centers for Academic Excellence – Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) grant (managed by NSA). Concurrently, Sharon serves as the PI for the NCAE-C Careers Preparation National Center grant program.
Sharon’s education includes a B.S. in Geology from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, a Master of Administration from Central Michigan University, a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, and a Ph.D. in Management with a specialization in Leadership and Organizational Change from Walden University.
