Devan’s (Team 229312) Pre-Launch Thoughts

About Me:

I have been interested in Space since a young age -- like many people. This has driven me to work on my own custom Tiny PocketQube (only 5cm^3!) satellite I plan to send to space that consists of six custom Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and several thousand hours of work. In addition to this, I also love Rock Climbing as a way to balance my life from the heavily technical part and be a more well-rounded person.

The Go For Launch Experience:

Go For Launch is an amazing opportunity that has made a huge impact on me. Having the opportunity to at a young age, design and launch an International Space Station (ISS) experiment is amazing, and has already inspired and taught thousands of kids.

In addition to all of this, the multi-day event allows you to make friends, talk to real astronaut(s), and participate in other fun activities -- all the while learning an immense amount about space, technology, and more!
