A Wadsworth City Councilman at Large since 2016, Tom chairs the Economic Development Committee for the City of Wadsworth, along with being a member of the Service Committee, and Center for Older Adults. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics/Astronomy & Mathematics from the University of Mount Union & has been a resident of Wadsworth for over 40 years. He also served as interim Executive Director for Main Street Wadsworth and continues to serve that organization as the past President of the board of directors as well as Chair of economic development for the organization. He is involved with Wadsworth Community Radio as an on-air personality along with remote broadcasts, on-air production, sports broadcasting, as well as all studio engineering. He is the past president of the Wadsworth Lions, Wadsworth Grizzly Community Foundation, the Wadsworth Salvation Army advisory board, and the Wadsworth Older Adults Foundation. Tom also serves on the Board of Directors for The Village of St Edward Senior Community in Wadsworth along with many other community organizations throughout Wadsworth & Medina county. Tom is also a photographer, videographer, & graphic designer in the NE Ohio area.
