My name is Madelyn Heaston and I am a homeschooled sophomore in high school. My family and I live in near Seattle, WA. As long as I can remember, I have loved science! This last year I have had the opportunity to be involved with Higher Orbits on the Northern Lights winning team, where our STEAM project was launched into space on a Blue Origin rocket. I am also the 2019-2020 EngineerGirl Ambassador for Seattle, bringing STEAM workshops to local family homeless shelters as well as a school in Mexico. My desire is to provide other students with inspiring and encouraging opportunities.
