My name is Elizabeth Fournier and I am a junior at Cary- Grove High School in Cary, Illinois. I have been passionate about STEM and space since I was very young. I attended Higher Orbits Spring Grove in 2018 and 2020. I was on the 2018 series winning team Reginae Reginarium and was fortunate enough to attend the launch of our astaxanthin producing H. Pluvialis algae in Wallops Island, VA. I have been a part of a STEM program in my district- GEMS, which helps teach and involve middle school girls in STEM since seventh grade. I swim for my high school team and McHenry Marlins Aquatic Club. I am also involved in various school clubs like student council and NHS. I also love hiking and being outdoors. I am lookin at a future in biochemistry!
