Space Inspires! Higher Orbits uses space to inspire students in STEM and STEAM while building teamwork, leadership, and communication skills. We are known for our multi-day space inspired STEM/STEAM program we run called Go For Launch! where high-school students across the United States work with an Astronaut and compete to have their experiment launched into space. Higher Orbits makes space, in a variety of ways, accessible to all students regardless of their STEM background. During pandemic we ran a multitude of Space at Home kits where students across the country could be part of space inspired STEM learning and inspirational talks right from home.Just in time for the holidays, we are releasing a Space at Home gift box. This kit will be full of space inspired STEM/STEAM Activities, space crafts, 2 Astronaut webinars, and of course the highly coveted Space Swag! Slightly different from our previous Space at Home kits, there will be no "live" activities. All activities will be pre-recorded videos (along with written instructions) or activities with only written instructions. There will be 2 live Astronaut talks that will happen within the first 3 months of 2023 (dates to be determined.)
TIMING DETAILS
These kits will only be available for purchase for a limited time. All orders received by December 7th will ship in time for the holidays. Kits ordered after rthis date can not be guaranteed for the holidays but we will do our best. The Astronaut webinars will all be scheduled for to be determined dates sometime between end of January through March. For those who are unable to attend the live Astronaut webinars, a recording link will be sent to all who are participants in this Higher Orbits Space At Home Kit.
