Higher Orbits Announces YouAreGoForLaunch! Opportunity to Provide Registration Coverage, Airfare, and Hotel Accommodations for One Student Applicant for Go For Launch! KSCVC

Higher Orbits Galactic HQ – May 25, 2022 – Higher Orbits is inviting students in grades 8-12 across the country to apply for the chance to earn covered registration cost, airfare, and a hotel stay for Go For Launch! KSCVC.  

At Go For Launch! KSCVC students will get #SpaceInspired as they learn about the wonders of spaceflight from featured retired NASA Astronaut Tony Antonelli. During this event students will also work on designing an experiment that could be selected to launch into space. “As a young student with a passion for space, I was fortunate to attend Space Camp through the generosity of a scholarship. I am over the moon that we at Higher Orbits are able to do the same for a deserving student to attend this exciting program with us at KSC,” said Michelle Lucas, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Higher Orbits.

Applications must be received May 31st by 5PM eastern time. The winning YouAreGoForLaunch applicant will be announced the first week of June.

Go For Launch! KSCVC will be held June 28-30, 2022 at Kennedy Space Center’s Visitor Complex, the host partner for this event Interested students can register online at: https://higherorbits.org/events/go-for-launch-kscvc/. Financial aid is available to students who need assistance to be able to attend this event.
