Gilbert S. (Gil) Griffin is director, Advanced Space, Multi-Domain Command and Control and Nuclear Enterprise, Global Sales and Marketing. He leads a team that markets advanced products, services, software and applications for Defense, Space & Security’s Phantom Works division. Prior to joining Boeing, Griffin served in the U.S. Air Force where his duties included back-to-back division chief roles in the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office; mission director for Flight Test Operations; Air Force lead for Export Control; systems effectiveness lead in the F-22 Program Office and space control officer responsible for all aspects of space superiority.
Before joining the Air Force, Girffin served in the Texas Army National Guard Cavalry Regiment’s Intelligence Division. After moving to Colorado to pursue a degree program he transferred to the Colorado Army National Guard.
Griffin holds bachelor’s degree in economics from Colorado State University. He also holds a Master of Business Adminstration from Colorado Technical University and a Master of Military Operational Art and Science, Air University Air Command and Staff College, Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala.
