Leeches, methane or plants could make their way into space thanks to students who are participating in the Go For Lauch! Apollo Series in Midland.
Go For Launch! is a hands-on STEM program of Higher Orbits, a nonprofit organization that aims to encourage students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Over the past two days, students from eighth grade to seniors engaged in space-inspired activities, collaborating with each other and learning from aerospace professionals to create an experiment for the Apollo Series.
