YOU are Go For Launch!
for
National Astronaut Day

Space Inspires and has inspired people for as long as there have been stars in the skies. Humans have dared to become trailblazers off the planet and inspired us all to dream bigger. Heroes like Alan Shepard and Sally Ride have encouraged us to push boundaries.
We want to give a future STEMist, Explorer… Astronaut, an opportunity to have their ideas launched to space and to work with one of these trailblazers of space!
Students in grades 8-12 (including those recently completing grade 12 and those who will be starting grade 8 in the fall) – here’s an opportunity for you to work with an Astronaut at Go For Launch! and visit Kennedy Space Center!
ONE winner will be awarded roundtrip airfare for the winner and a parent/guardian from their home airport in the US to Florida, registration to Go For Launch! Space Coast 2023, and hotel stay while participating at the event.
Submissions close on June 8 and winner will be announced on June 18, which is the 40th Anniversary of STS-7, the flight that carried Sally Ride, the first American Woman, to space!
